DRILLING

The Cethana and Dove River Tenements have had very limited drilling. Historic drilling included two shallow RC holes, one above the Cethana anomaly and one through the Powerful Anomaly. Pluton has since completed three diamond drilling programs targeting copper gold mineralisation related to the Dove Granite intrusive complex.

Cethana Magnetic Anomaly

Cambrian rocks (a package of dacitic and andesitic volcanic and volcaniclastic rocks) in the vicinity of the Cethana anomaly were targeted by two drill holes in 2008. Drilling intersected sheeted magnetite veins and accessory sulphide mineralisation. Copper and gold values encountered in drilling are consistent with wall rock mineralisation marginal to a mineralised porphyry. The metal association identified is encouraging, particularly the correlation between copper and gold values.

Drill intercepts include:

5 metres @ 0.21% Copper, 0.13 g/t Gold, 4 g/t Silver, 0.014% Molybdenum and 0.014% Cobalt from 213m (CETD1),

18 metres @ 0.1% Copper, 0.08 g/t Gold, 2.6 g/t Silver, 0.012% Molybdenum and 0.007% Cobalt from 245m (CETD1) AND

4 metres @ 0.16% Copper, 0.09 g/t Gold and 2.1 g/t Silver from 232m (CETD2)

Five Mile Rise

The Five Mile Rise goldfield overlies the Mount Read Volcanics and the intrusive porphyritic Dove Granite. The area had previously been surveyed using the Induced Polarisation (IP) technique. One of the IP anomalies was easily accessible by road and a single diamond drill hole tested the Volcanic host rocks. The best drill intercepts were:

10 metres @ 0.1% Copper from 232m

1 metre @ 1.13g/t Gold, 63.3g/t Silver and 3.03% Lead from 315m AND

1m @ 1.37g/t Gold from 336m (DR1)

Devon Mine Prospect

The porphyritic Dove Granite outcrops in the Dove River valley adjacent to the Devon Mine. The mine is rich in lead and silver. Two drill holes were drilled to test the down dip extension of the workings and copper, silver and gold was intersected in narrow veins, including an intercept of:

12 metres @ 0.12 g/t Gold, 6.3 g/t Silver and 0.017%ppm Cobalt from 100m INCLUDING…

1 metre @ 0.39 g/t Gold,  41 g/t Silver, 0.69% Copper, 0.51% Lead and 0.77% Zinc from 103m AND

1m @ 103 g/t Silver from 199m (DEVD2)

Powerful Anomaly

The discreet high intensity magnetic anomaly at the Powerful prospect was tested by two drill holes, one located directly above the anomaly (DR2) and one targeting the historic workings at the Dove Granite contact with the porphyritic granodiorite (DR3). Best intersections are:

8m @ 0.06% Copper, 0.27g/t Gold, 0.015% Cobalt and 0.59g/t Silver from 90m (DR2)

1m @ 1.39 g/t Gold from 51m (DR3)

1m @ 170ppm Molybdenum from 102m (DR3) AND

1m @ 0.12% Cobalt, 2.15g/t Silver from 194m (DR3)
